Is this right for your family?
SDG Baseball is a Christian homeschool baseball program built to support your home and local church while helping your son grow in discipline, character and skill.

You want baseball shaped by biblical teaching, prayer, discipleship and Biblical accountability.
Your family can make a serious weekly commitment to practices, games and team responsibilities.
You understand that applying begins a competitive selection process, not a guaranteed roster spot.
Am I Eligible?
- SDG Baseball primarily serves Christian homeschool families. Hybrid and private-school students entering grades 6 through 8 may be considered individually when their school does not provide the same baseball opportunity and their schedule permits full participation.
- Based in the south OKC area, SDG Baseball plays games across Oklahoma, with occasional out-of-state travel. Preseason begins in January 2027, followed by the February–May season.
- A player does not have to personally profess faith to apply, but must willingly and respectfully participate in the program’s Christian life.
Baseball in Its Proper Place
A parent or guardian must profess the Christian faith, affirm the Statement of Faith and be meaningfully involved in a faithful, like-minded local church. SDG Baseball supports your family and church; it does not replace either one. SDG Baseball will never schedule team activities on Sundays or Wednesday evenings.
Players willingly participate in biblical teaching, prayer, Scripture memory, discipleship and the team’s Christian culture.

Scripture calls us to work heartily for the Lord and do all things for His glory. We therefore pursue excellence in every responsibility God gives us, including baseball. Players train and compete seriously, demonstrating preparation, effort, humility, self-control, and respect. Roster selection is competitive, and playing time and team roles reflect readiness, character, and commitment.

Statement of Faith
SDG Baseball exists to glorify God by making disciples through the world of baseball. We believe athletics are a gift from God and should be used in submission to His Word, for the development of young men, the strengthening of Christian families, the service of the local church, and the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The following doctrines establish the theological foundation of SDG Baseball and govern our teaching, leadership, culture and conduct.
Family affirmation
We have read and affirm the SDG Baseball Statement of Faith. We profess the Christian faith and are meaningfully involved in a faithful, like-minded local church. We understand that SDG Baseball is an explicitly Christian discipleship organization and that biblical instruction, prayer, Scripture memory and Christian accountability are foundational parts of the program. We agree to support the organization’s mission, teaching, leadership and standards of conduct.
A student is not required to make a personal profession of faith in order to apply. However, every participating student must willingly attend and respectfully participate in the biblical teaching, prayer, Scripture memory, discipleship and Christian culture of SDG Baseball.
